WELCOME TO THE MED
An ode to my maiden name Medler - Welcome to The Med - proudly founded & launched by Carla Louise Duffin in 2024 offering wedding planning, coordination & florals across London, Surrey, Sussex and beyond.
I have spent the last fifteen years producing events in the luxury fashion and beauty space, working in-house for Vivienne Westwood, producing London Fashion Week and The Fashion Awards as part of The British Fashion Council and working as a freelance producer for some of the most incredible agencies in London for prestigious luxury fashion and beauty houses. I have been so lucky to work with truly incredible brands, but nothing feels the same as knowing you have genuinely made a positive impact on the most important day of someone's life - and so The Med was born!
My approach is classic but contemporary, romantic and whimsical - effortless elegance inspired by nature, English country homes and the countryside. In juxtaposition to my laid-back romantic style, I thrive on organisation, scheduling and project management so that you can relax and enjoy your big day.
Whether you need assistance with asking those all-important questions to your suppliers and pulling all details into a schedule, styling your venue or full wedding planning from the very beginning, I can tailor any service to you to create a completely bespoke package – this is your day so let’s make your dreams come true.
The Med is also proud to specialise in gorgeous romantic, natural and wild blooms, creating dreamy florals for your wedding or special day. My approach is completely bespoke to you and your brief, I am also lucky enough to have my very own cutting garden – growing beautiful cut flowers throughout the year to supplement my designs.
When I’m not working on exquisite weddings & events I am rarely seen without a bow in my hair and my gorgeous rescue dog Cherry. Thank you so much for putting your trust in me, I cannot wait to hear from you!
